Amanda Spielman appears to be incredibly concerned about everything.
I read an article earlier this month which stated she was concerned about schools ‘shoveling’ kids back to parents, because teachers can’t cope with the behaviour of some young people.
Now, she’s concerned about the number of home educated students and the number of fixed term exclusions.
Perhaps if we invested some dollar into providing a place for non-academic pupils to go, it would alleviate the problem.
Let’s stop trying to force a square peg into a round hole. Give kids the chance to go after a career from a younger age.
